To be announced Our legal representative in the EU under Article 13 DSA is to be announced; their name and contact details will be published on this page. Until then, please use the points of contact above.
Reporting illegal content in ads
Anyone can tell us about a tPiy ad they believe is illegal — or that breaks our ad policy — using our report form (Article 16 DSA). A complete notice contains:
- an explanation of why you consider the ad illegal;
- where you saw it: the game, the date and time and what the ad showed (brand, text) — and the web address if the ad led to a website or store page;
- your name and e-mail address (not needed for reports of child sexual abuse material);
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the information and allegations in the notice are accurate and complete.
We confirm receipt by e-mail with a reference number. Our team reviews every notice carefully, objectively and without undue delay, and can stop the ad at once while we review it. We aim to decide within 3 working days, and on the same day for reports of child sexual abuse material. We then tell you our decision and how you can contest it. Decisions on notices are made by people, not by automated systems.
If we become aware of information suggesting a criminal offence that threatens someone’s life or safety, we inform the competent authorities (Article 18 DSA).
Statement of reasons to advertisers
If we remove or restrict an ad, stop a campaign, or suspend or close an advertiser account because the content is illegal or breaks our terms, we send the affected advertiser a clear statement of reasons (Article 17 DSA). It says what we decided and its scope, the facts and circumstances, whether the decision followed a notice (without revealing who sent it), the legal ground or the rule in our advertiser terms, that no automated means were used, and how to contest the decision.
How to contest a decision
If you sent a notice, or you are an advertiser affected by our decision, you can contest it by e-mail to [email protected], quoting the reference number, within six months of being informed. Someone other than the person who made the original decision reviews your complaint, and we tell you the outcome and our reasons.
You can also turn to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body or go to court, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Digital Services Coordinator of your Member State.
Advertising transparency
Every tPiy ad is clearly labelled “Ad” on screen. Its “Why this ad?” button opens our privacy policy, which explains the main parameters used to choose the ad: the context — the game, your country and your language — and, only for players who actively consented to personalised ads and are not known to be under 18, audience segments based on how they play, such as being a paying player.
tPiy never uses special categories of personal data (such as health, religion or political opinions) for advertising, and never shows personalised ads to players known to be under 18.
Protection of minors
All games that show tPiy ads are rated for ages 13 and older, and only ads rated for everyone or 12+ appear in them. Our ad policy forbids content unsuitable for this audience.
Players known to be under 18 are always in limited mode: tPiy builds no profile of them and never shows them ads based on profiling. For apps directed at children or at a mixed audience, tPiy stores no device identifiers and no hashes of device identifiers or IP addresses; the player ID is stored and used only with reward events and the reward notification to the game’s server, so that the game can deliver the reward. Apps directed at children receive only ads rated for everyone.
Transparency reports
tPiy’s position is that it currently qualifies as a micro or small enterprise within the meaning of Commission Recommendation 2003/361/EC. Such enterprises are exempt from the transparency reporting obligation of Article 15(1) DSA (Article 15(2)) and from the additional obligations for online platforms (Article 19). We will publish transparency reports on this page as soon as the DSA requires us to.
